What is the fertile window?

The fertile window is the period of time during a woman's menstrual cycle when she is most likely to conceive.

This window often lasts a few days in the middle of the menstrual cycle, near ovulation.

As an egg is released from the ovary and travels down the fallopian tube to the uterus, it is said to be ovulating.

The fertile window normally lasts 6 days, beginning 5 days before ovulation and ending 1 day following ovulation.

It's vital to note that the length of the fertile window varies from woman to woman and from cycle to cycle.

Factors such as age, health, and lifestyle can all affect the timing of ovulation and the length of the fertile window.
