3. Cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene mutations

The function of the vas deferens, which carries sperm from the testicles to the urethra, can be impacted by mutations in the CFTR gene.

4. Congenital bilateral absence of the vas deferens (CBAVD)

It is a genetic condition that  results in infertility when the  vas deferens is absent or  underdeveloped.

5. Androgen receptor gene mutations:

This gene's mutations can impact how cells react to testosterone, which can reduce sperm production.
